Upright pianos

Upright Piano Moving

From compact spinets to full-size studio uprights, every model gets the same protection — quilted padding, padded straps, and a piano-rated dolly.

Every upright, handled correctly

Uprights look manageable but typically weigh 400–800 pounds, with the bulk of the weight up high. Tilting one without the right technique risks the action, the casters, your floors — and the movers' backs.

We use a 4-wheel piano dolly, full quilted wrap, and cast-iron-rated straps. Every staircase gets the right climber and the right number of crew.

Common upright moves we handle

Family heirlooms, beginner pianos for new students, church and chapel uprights, classroom pianos, and rehearsal-room moves for studios and venues across the Metroplex.
